Media and projection designer, GREG TOWLE focused on design and technical opportunities while in the UCSC Theater Arts department. He worked in the scene shop and designed a few departmental shows. He was even able to assist a professor in several professional designs. His experience in undergrad kicked off his career well: he landed an internship right after graduation at Centerstage in Baltimore and then was hired as A/V Technician at one of the largest theater companies in the country, Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. Along the way he picked up a few design credits, including two LORT shows, Around the World in 80 Days at Arizona Theatre Company, and All the Way at Arena Stage. Now he's applying to grad schools, hoping to start in the Fall of 2018. The experience and opportunities provided by the UCSC Theater Arts Department are and have been invaluable to him!
