Don Williams directs Lorraine Hansberry's landmark play featuring special guest award-winning actor and Theater Arts alumna Adilah Barnes in the role of "Mama." This American classic centers on an African-American family and their determination to live a better life in the face of poverty and racism.
Presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC. by the UCSC Theater Arts Department in conjunction with the Cultural Arts and Diversity Resource Center, the African American Theater Arts Troupe, and the UCSC Arts Division. Ms. Barnes appears through the courtesy of Actors' Equity Association, the Union of Professional Actors and Stage Managers in the United States.
