The Theater Arts major aims to combine the
advantages of conservatory-type training with those of a liberal
education. In both large lecture classes and small studios
the program connects theory and practice. The program prepares
students to engage in professional study and work, to go on
to graduate training, and to relate the knowledge of the arts
of performance to their own lives, to the community, and to
other disciplines.
